 The entry fee is to be paid in full by Draftday; no partial payments allowed. 
There are 22 Rounds in the 2025 draft. 
Prior to this day, those owners wishing to protect and/or franchise a player (from last year's roster) must do so by the close of August. (Sunday, Midnight). 
 The commissioner will 
lock down all noted players attributed to their fantasy teams as currently posted on the website in the FIRST ROUND PLAYER SELECTIONS link.
Owners will select their Draft Position/Division based on how they finished with their horses in the 2025 Kentucky Derby (shown in Current Standing in offseason.) Rookies will be designated the highest open-slot lottery finish on a first-come basis. Each year the owners may vote to select another draft selection game option.
For the 22 rounds, draft orders will snake from #1 to #12 then back from #12 to #1 [10x]. 
Make sure that you have enough selections to back up each important position, since every NFL team will have a BYE week. Each owner/manager must draft one player from each of the seven player positions:
Quarterback: Max 3 * (Includes all backups)  IDP: Every Team Defense has a squad of IDPs and Returners to choose from. You must select one to play every week as part of your Defense/Special Teams. You can switch your IDP at any time during the course of the season.
Running Back: Max 4 **
Wide Receiver: Max 7 ***
Tightend: Max 7 ***
(Receivers/TEs must not surpass 8 in total)
Placekicker: Max 3 (Includes all kickers)
Offensive Team: Max 3
Defensive/Special Team (Includes IDP): Max 3
Drafted Q.B.'s and Kickers are based on TEAMS, not just the individual player. During the course of an NFL game, all kickers attempting fieldgoals and extra points for your Placekicking Team will count towards your total for that week's game.
  FRANCHISE OWNERSHIP: 
 GHOST/PHANTOM TEAMS: If an owner backs out before the preseason draft or if there aren't enough owners to fill out the twelve franchise slots slated for the season, a Ghost team will be instituted. A Ghost team will appear in the schedule as normal, but with a set score for the course of the season. No NFL players will occupy the team and all opponents must beat the Ghost Score [109.9] to secure a victory; a tie with the Ghost team = Loss.  
ZOMBIE TEAMS: If ownership is less than eight in a given year, the 'open' slots (up to 8) will select players via autopilot on Draft Night. A Zombie team will submit the best Pro Standard lineup possible in a given week, while supplementing injured and underperforming players from their bench. 
Zombie teams are allowed only THREE successfull transactions for the year {whether SBL, Trades, and/or First-come pickups.) These transactions are FREE.
  * 3RD QUARTERBACK SLOT: A third QB can be added under the following conditions:
Sacrifice of ONE RB slot & ONE other Player Position slot.  ** 4th RUNNING BACK SLOT: A fourth RB can be added under the following conditions:
the sacrifice of either TWO WR slots or ONE WR & TE slot.  *** TIGHTEND/RECEIVER ALTERNATE SLOT: The 2nd TE or 4th WR slot may be negotiated to those wishing a 5th WR or 3rd TE. This will help owners employ any WR-TE heavy schemes to counter player injuries and Bye weeks without continually fishing into the Free Agent pool. Of course, once a 5th WR is chosen for the slot, the roster cannot support a second TE option and that player slot must be dropped. This goes the same for a third tightend and its 4th WR counterpart. This slot may be altered at any time during the season.
  9 Teams Only * 6th WR or 4th TE SLOT: Any one can be added under the following conditions:
Sacrifice of ONE RB slot and ONE other positional slot [QB,PK,OFF,DEF]
 Example: Sam Darnold (Minnesota) is drafted by the 'Tempests'. If Wilson moved to the Seahawks during the off/season, the 'Tempests' lose him and must settle for the current QB or alternative backup on Minnesota (J.J. McCarthy). Likewise, whoever owns the Seattle QB Team will automatically claim Sam!
 An owner can be at the control of only one franchise in the league. 
 5+ Games: If a problem owner bails out during the season, the franchise becomes frozen (Zombie Team) and will run on autopilot for the course of the schedule (unless a reserve owner purchases the team).
 No trades can be made and replacement players (BYE weeks) will be instituted by the commissioner.
 4 less Games: If abandonment takes place by mid-October, the team's players will be auctioned off to all owners. The highest bidder claims all wanted players (while releasing others to stay within roster limits), and the abandoned team then becomes a Ghost.
The Ghost team should average 4 wins and not threaten most teams seeking a playoff spot. 
Benefits: Ease in double QB play vs BYE weeks & enhances trade deals.
Restrictions:
* Can be added as the 3rd slot during the Draft, but a sacrifice of the very next round of drafting will occur.
* There will never be 4 QB's allowed on a roster.
* Roster restricted to 15 slots overall
EXCEPTION: If a total of TWO RB MAX limitations have already been met prior, you may drop a player from any other roster slot.
Benefits: Ease in Tribash play vs BYE weeks & enhances trade deals
Restrictions:
* Can be added as the 4th slot during the Draft, but a sacrifice of the very next round of drafting will occur.
* There will be no Injured Reserve slots available for RB's (5 RB's total still not allowed)
* Roster restricted to 15 slots overall
* You must retain one TE player {no 4 rb, 4 wr, 0 te}
EXCEPTION: If a total of FOUR WR/TE limitations have already been met prior, you may drop a player from any other roster slot.
Benefits: Ease in WestCoast play vs BYE weeks & Enhances trade deals
Restrictions:
* Can be added as the 6th/4th WR/TE slot respectively, during the Draft, but a sacrifice of the very next round of drafting will occur.
* There will be no Injured Reserve slots available for WR's & TE's (7 WR's/5 TE's total still not allowed.)
* Roster restricted to 15 slots overall
* You must retain at least one player at every position (PK,OFF,DEF)
