"I want to say that this league is the most fun I've had in a fantasy sport for quite a few years. The entire time I had spent talking with the other owners, I got the impression that they put some serious dedication into this particular league. I didn't know much on what I was doing at first, but since I love analyzing data, I came up with an offensive scheme that suited my team's talents. I didn't expect to be this successful [GOAT], and Alan let me know that I was paving a new path for some pretty unconquerable records. I just took it all in stride, just like Johnny Lawrence kicking some serious ass! Ha, ha.
Watch out guys, I am known to sweep that leg!
Cobra Kai........Hee-oah!"

1The Year Of The Rookie. I have said this statement plenty of times before, mainly as a truthful selling point for new owners, but my goodness....never in the history of our league has a class come in and, not only be successful, but destroy the record books! How does it feel to know that your legacy has been legitimized without actually investing an enormous amount of time here?
I can only say that I was lucky. I didn't know too much about what was happening with the rulebook until we basically got into September. I always draft excellent teams so this bought me weeks of time until I understood your league format. My team outperformed expectations, especially Alvin Kamara, Melvin Gordon, and Matt Ryan. To be the Aggregate Points Leader after more than twenty years of your league history is shocking.
2Typically, when I accept rookies into the league, I explain how important it is that they learn as much of the rules as they can so they are prepared for the season. Instead, most of them are oddly mute in the month of August and then bum-rush me with questions hours before the draft commencement. You were the rare person who asked questions way in advance, and I felt that you were well-prepared and valued my advice despite your insecurities with the regulations. Was this the cornerstone reason why you were successful?
Ha, ha. Sometimes I felt that I was bothering you way too much. Nah, I think that I was champing at the bit for the season to start and just wanted to shoot the breeze with you. If I didn't draft a championship caliber team, I might have been lost for much of the year while I learned. I see what you mean though. You have a lot going on, and I respect that. I would never put you in a position where I wasn't doing my job as owner and studying the system in the preseason.
I did a pretty decent job though as it turned out!
3I agree, you were quite the powerhouse team, ranking 2nd ever in League Power Rank and Point Totals! Yet, I did see you falter a bit in the middle of the year, taking OUTS and failing to insert IDPs into your lineup. You even backed out of a group meetup last minute with the Lycanthropes and Nightshade in Utica, NY. Can you explain these odd behaviors?
You are not the first person to point out on how flaky I can act, especially my snippy girlfriend who tells that to me all the time. It's almost like she's looking for a fight. But you both are correct, I take inappropriate breaks from responsibility on occasion, probably because I have a hard time multitasking. The day I was supposed to go to the sports club, I remembered that I had to work on a paper for my IT class and never called you. Sorry about that fellas.
4You and I share the same career path in that we served time in the armed service. Currently, you are an Air Force Reservist. Personally, I was happy that I gave to my country, but I knew that it was not the designated lifestyle for me. Explain to everyone about your outlook on the military life, and why you plan to retire in a few years from this. Also, what is your vocation?
I never minded my service time while I was active duty, but I felt that I was spinning wheels not really accomplishing anything substantial. Right now, I am a civilian contractor working with the government on certain key technological projects. I basically mid-manage between the federal government and private companies. I can move all over the country if I wanted to make really great money, but I have my teenage daughter to consider so that's why I am localized in the New York region.
5 How do you see your success in this league going forward now that you shattered the glass ceiling? Do you fear a sophomore slump? Are you a true challenger for the greatest franchise of all time? After all, the 2018 Cobras are the Best Team that ever existed!
[Takes a deep sigh] I hope to continue my dominance in this great league, but I don't know what the future holds. The whole sports arena is just pissing me off with their selfish displays of grandeur. I find myself not wanting to be involved with the NFL hypocrisy any longer; it's not worth my time to give them any extra attention. That being said, I look forward to at least 2019 and improve on the...Best Team Of All Time! I'm going for it!
